He has practiced law since 1976, graduated from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1975. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania State Bar in 1976, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1977 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1984.
Mr. Barsamian served as Chairman of the American Immigration Lawyers Association from 1989 to 1991. He has been a member of the Widener University Law School Alumni Association since 1981 and he is a past president of the organization. He speaks Spanish and Armenian.
